I had bad costumer service
was when I went to Olive Garden. I was about 15 years old and had
gone with my mom and sister. I had ordered macaroni and cheese and
after waiting a really long time I finally received my order only to
find long black hairs scattered throughout the noodles. It only took
one scoop to discover the mess. We told the waiter about it and after
going back to the kitchen they came to the conclusion that we had
planted it ourselves when I had barely received the plate having no
time to physically place my hair that at the time was short and stir
it up. They gave us a gift card and a new dish for free but I was
more upset that she assumed it was me when I clearly had no time to
do it especially with the restaurant being full and with waiters
constantly passing our table.
The whole experience wasn't bad they
did what they could to make sure we came back and they succeeded in
doing so! We go all the time now and although I don't recall seeing
the waiter ever again we did run into the manager and she remembered
us. I'm sure they put it aside and continued trying to give us the
best service possible and with the delicious food and the reasonable
prices I will return for as long as I enjoy it. The way the
management handled the situation was greatly appreciated and I
believe thats why I go back. Mistakes happen and it's really up to
the consumer if they are willing to give a company another chance
despite a negative visit. I agree with giving second chances and i'm
happy that I did. I do, to this day, encourage people to go despite
the incident.
